 KINGMAX focused on developing and producing small memory cards that meet the customer’s storage needs of capacity, stability and speed. In 2005, KINGMAX intends to aggressively launch a varied range of small memory cards for mobile phones, including the high-speed MMC card built on the core MMC technology. This MMCmobile product not only provides dual voltage (1.8V / 3.3V) compatibility but with its 13 PIN transmission capability it has backward compatible with the generic RS-MMC which applies 7 PIN transmission. What is most noteworthy is that MMCmobile supports transmission speed of up to 52Mbps/sec, a first for small memory cards anywhere in the world. In addition, the thumb-sized MicroSD (T-Flash) card for mobile phones, the smallest portable memory card that supports a transmission speed of 12.5 Mbps/sec launched by the SD association in 2004, has become the industry standard. With a number of key mobile phone manufacturers already beginning to adopt this standard, the future of the small memory card as a key component in the industry looks extremely promising. |
